Folksy!

I've taken the plunge and opened up a shop on Folksy. It seems very reasonable and I needed something other than my website to show potential customers at a distance ( I don't want my jewellery mixed in with my painting and prints- at the moment anyway). These are the items I've made, photographed and listed so far:

Apparently, I now need for the Folksy community to accept me - it feels like the first day of school all over again...GULP! I'm not sure how to get accepted, I don't think rolling my socks down and taking out my pigtails will work here somehow. If any of you bloggers out there know the way forward, could you please let me know, and/or accept me? (Is there a funny handshake involved?)

Well done - really great pictures. Perhaps I better get a move on and try and get on myself then perhaps we can accept each other?? xx

No funny handshakes necessary! We're a friendly bunch on Folksy, just join in on the forums to let people know you're there :D

Love your spiral ring!

Thankyou both. Is there a difference between favouring a shop and liking a shop does anyone know?

Sounds a bit like Etsy Tammy, in which case..forums, forums, forums are the order of the day. Your jewellery is lovely and I am sure they will soon accept you. Everything takes a little time.

Thankyou, I've realised I have to 'put myself about' a bit on the forums. It's a bit like blogging- easy to lose an hour or two wih no work being done - most enjoyable but guilty feelings soon follow!
